Application-aware routing
Direct defined traffic using application needs and supported measurements such as delay, jitter and packet loss.
Connect sites. Coordinate the network.
Give applications a better route and your team a clearer view. Bring offices, branches and cloud services into one coordinated network design.

SD-WAN, explained
Your connections carry the traffic.
SD-WAN helps choose the route.
SD-WAN means software-defined wide area networking. It adds centrally managed policies over the physical internet and network connections at your sites, helping decide how traffic moves between locations and applications.
A voice call, a cloud application and a large backup do not need the same treatment. The design can use application priorities and supported link-health measurements to choose suitable paths, while giving administrators a more consistent view.

Make routing, visibility and security follow the way your organisation actually works.
Direct defined traffic using application needs and supported measurements such as delay, jitter and packet loss.
Use suitable broadband, Ethernet and mobile access in one design. Each site can have a different mix of physical links.
Bring available performance information and policies together, with clear administrator roles and a defined change process.
Review segmentation, firewalling and internet breakout alongside routing. Included controls and licences depend on the platform.
Create a consistent site standard. Supported remote or zero-touch provisioning can simplify rollout where included.
Agree when traffic should use an alternative path and which applications take priority when spare capacity is limited.
Service availability, equipment, features, licences and support scope are confirmed in your proposal. Optional services are priced and agreed separately.
The picture, made clearer
An illustrative SD-WAN design. Physical connections carry traffic; centrally managed policies govern how supported edge devices route it.
Illustrative design. Actual routing, supported equipment and features depend on the selected service and agreed configuration.
Make an informed choice
These are the real connections at each site: broadband, leased lines or mobile access. Their capacity and physical availability still matter.
A logical network links supported edge devices, commonly using protected tunnels. Routing and security boundaries follow the agreed design.
Define priorities, link-health thresholds and fallback behaviour. Test these against real applications before rolling out across the estate.
Continuity, considered
SD-WAN can support a phased move from an existing WAN or MPLS environment. The useful starting point is your application paths, addressing and security requirements.
Plan your setup ↗Choose a site that reflects real traffic, working patterns and the links you intend to use.
Decide what breaks out locally, what stays between sites and what passes through central controls.
Test application performance and failover, then review policies as the business changes.
From enquiry to everyday use
Document sites, circuits and critical application paths.
Agree routing, security, management and fallback policies.
Configure a representative site and test real workloads.
Roll out in stages, then monitor and refine the design.
A little more clarity
Have a question about your site?
Start with the address and what you need.
No. It uses physical access services and supported equipment. You still need enough capacity and a suitable continuity design at each site.
A migration or mixed design may be possible. We review private application access, addressing, routing and security dependencies before recommending a phased approach.
No. Sites can use different access types where the platform supports them. The choice depends on workload, availability and continuity needs.
The selected platform and package determine the controls. Your proposal should specify firewall, filtering, intrusion protection or separate security services where required.
No. Session continuity depends on the platform, configuration and application. Switching paths can affect active calls, VPNs and public addresses; testing is essential.
We can discuss a managed arrangement through delivery partners, including policy ownership, monitoring, support and how changes are authorised.
UK-wide service enquiries
For offices across the UK, document sites, applications and access connections before defining routing policy. SD-WAN can coordinate supported links, but coverage, capacity, security and ongoing management still need a site-by-site plan.
Based in Charlwood, we welcome enquiries nationwide, with a particular focus on Horley, Crawley, Gatwick, Surrey, Sussex and London. Delivery, availability and any site attendance are confirmed for your chosen service.
